Carly Pearce was honored by her hometown of Taylor Mill, Kentucky today.
Carly shares “I convinced my parents at 16 to drop out of high school & leave my hometown. Today, that same home town honored me with ‘Carly Pearce Day,’ a key to the city, the title of ‘Kentucky Colonel’ and 2 of these signs at both ends of the town. I truly have no words. This town made me who I am…. I will always love you, Taylor Mill.”
Congrats to Carly on the special honor.
This follows a year that has seen Carly included in the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum…
and also become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Her new album, 29: Written in Stone arrives in two weeks on Friday, September 17th – and her current single “Next Girl” is one of the 15 tracks that will be on the new project.
